Adoption
Newsgroups |
|
alt.adoption |
Adoption discussion
newsgroup. The alt.adoption Usenet newsgroup is a place where all
those contemplating or affected by adoption can (and do!) air their
views. Adoptees, birth parents, and adoptive parents relate their
experience, and debate the current state of the social institution of
adoption. alt.adoption is seen by some as a support group, and in
particular as a meeting place for those who are searching for
information about separated birth relatives and those who can help them.
A Volunteer Search Network has sprung up to help coordinate some of
these activities. |
